Duranik and RedSpot Games revealed Sturmwind: Windstärke 12, a planned follow-up or expansion to the original Sturmwind Dreamcast game. The project was announced with pre-order information for a new limited physical edition. The expansion was planned to feature additional stages and an extended story component building on the original game’s structure.
The project was ultimately not completed, as RedSpot Games wound down operations later in 2014 before manufacturing could be finalised. Windstärke 12 remains one of the more notable cancelled entries in the post-commercial Dreamcast development space.
